Bird Watching

North Cornwall has many excellent bird watching sites, including the bird reserve at Trewornan Bridge between Rock and Wadebridge. The tidal waters and the mudflats make it a haven to migrating and resident waders and the cliffs have ideal sites for nesting seabirds

The Chough ( as shown above ) has now been re-established into Cornwall - it is after all the insignia bird of the county - and you may be lucky enough to see one on the cliffs and moors.

The National Trust Warden Service organise nature walks and details can be arranged from their offices.
